All of them are a wonder to behold and selfie-ready as long as you find the right vantage point. New York Harbor Tours has you covered when it comes to excellent vantage points, too. Our popular Daytime Downtown NYC Loop Tour is the ideal way to feast your eyes on the best that the City that Never Sleeps has to offer.
Private Charter Boat Tours are Available
Crowded boat tours often give you the feeling of being packed in a can with some fellow sardines. With COVID-19 social distancing measures in place, that option takes on a whole new meaning altogether. Fortunately, New York Harbor Tours offers a one-of-a-kind private (and safe) maritime experience on our Private Charter Boat Tours.
It’s important to note that we will only be doing private charters until further notice. This precaution minimizes the mixing of different groups aboard our vessels. Keeping our tours intimate also ensures that our passengers don’t get a crowded vibe and that passengers and crew don’t get the Coronavirus.
How We Keep Customers Safe & Healthy
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, these are uncertain times. In light of that, it is natural to have concerns about your safety and health during your excursion. We want to reassure you that your safety & health is always New York Harbor Tours’ mission and top priority.
With regards to cleanliness, we always swab our boats thoroughly with soap and bleach nightly. Additionally, surfaces of the boat are disinfected after every trip. We keep the head (restroom) stocked with hand sanitizer for the crew and passengers to use. Likewise, the galley sink is ever at the ready with clean towels and hand soap for everyone. Passengers are encouraged to sanitize or wash their hands anytime they board our vessels.
Where Does the Boat Tour Go?
The Daylight Downtown NYC Loop Tour departs from Pier 25 downtown. From there, we will loop around the tip of Manhattan and head up the East and Hudson Rivers. While you’re accompanying us on the refreshing waterways, you are in good hands with our Coast Guard-licensed captains.
During the tour, the experienced and knowledgeable Captain David Critchell brings you up close and personal to the historic and photogenic points of interest you’ve wanted to visit.
The captain will also navigate the tranquil waters to create the distance necessary to pan out and give you breathtaking views of attractions. The skyline of Downtown Manhattan and the stunning vistas offered by New York City’s renowned rivers are best viewed this way.
